Steve Paden: Mandolin/Vocals Mike LaRocque: Guitar/Vocals Harry Paden: Banjo/Vocals Ray Paden: Bass/Vocals

We would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to the Bluegrass group, Northernbound. We are a Connecticut-based 4-piece Bluegrass group, consisting of brothers: Ray,Steve, and Harry Paden from Winsted, and Mike LaRocque from Bristol. As a traditional Bluegrass Band , we play all types of bluegrass music, with three and four part harmonies. Our group has been together in it's current configuration for over fourteen years, but the brothers, Ray, Steve, and Harry have been playing bluegrass music for over twenty years. Although the group has claimed that the "Country Gentlemen", has been thier biggest influence, over the years we have moved into a sound all our own, that shows in our many diverse song choices. Please feel free to contact us, and tell us what you need, Because whether it's an original song, or a well arranged instrumental that Steve, Harry, or Mike bounce off each other, NorthernBound is sure to have something to please everyone. NorthernBound has performed at Bluegrass festivals in Maine, New York, Massachusetts, as well as colleges, churches, radio shows, town concerts, and private functions here in Connecticut. To date, we have 2 recorded projects,(1) Time Goes So Fast (2) Grandad Hank which are available on request. For bookings contact mike larocque.
